WHAT IS WALSINGHAM?Â
In 1061AD, the Virgin Mary appeared to a noblewoman in the town of Walsingham, England, and told her to build a house for the worship of Jesus Christ. For nearly a thousand years, Christians have made pilgrimage to this holy place, desiring to encounter the Lord who was born of Blessed Mary. Known as "England's Nazareth", the modern Anglican Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham has a fascinating history and continues to be the site of many healings, miracles, conversions, and renewal.
THE FESTIVALÂ
All are invited to celebrate and learn more about Walsingham and our Our Lady in this gathering of Christians who desire to grow in the love of Jesus Christ.Â
